The Charlie hoodie is a trim-fit, full zip hooded jacket, this one made from a well-loved vintage “Jacob’s Ladder” quilt. This quilt has a few charmingly threadbare areas and frayed edges, giving you perfect opportunities for some visible mending or patching (In-house mending is available; contact me to discuss). I trimmed the twin front patch pockets and shoulder epaulets with vintage new old stock rickrack trim. A vintage pink powder-coated metal toothed Talon zipper closes the front.

The quilt is all hand-stitched and hand-quilted. The lining is a bold geometric print that shows at the hem, cuffs, hood brim, and zipper. All the inside seams are bound with bias tape, which is not just a classy way to finish them, but is also very durable and hard-wearing. The jacket is machine-washable, though I would recommend the gentle cycle and laying flat to dry because of the threadbare areas.

Unisex size large, measuring 44″ at the chest and 42″ at the bottom hem. The shoulder is 16″ and the sleeve is 26″ It measures 22.5″ at center back.
