This Charlie hoodie is made from a gorgeous 1970s-era Dresden Plate quilt with a floral print interior. Bright vibrant greens make up the plates, on blocks of cheerful yellow. It is hand-quilted with filler motifs in the large areas. Inside, I preserved the gift tag, which reads “Made with Love by Granny.”

The Charlie hoodie has twin patch pockets that are carefully pattern-matched and edged with vintage rickrack trim. A vintage new old stock metal-toothed Talon zipper closes the front. All the inside seams are bound with bias tape, which is a classy way to make a jacket very durable and hard-wearing. This jacket is machine-washable and dryable.

Unisex size large, measuring 46″ at the chest and 44″ at the bottom hem. It is 16″ at the shoulder and has a 24″ sleeve. It measures 23″ at center back.
