The Daphne bodice is a high-backed form fitting top with wide shoulders. It has a front close placket with chrome finish snaps, and a V-neck. Shaping darts at front and rear gently conform to your shape. This one is completely reversible!
Made from a vintage quilt believed to date from the 1970s in a variation of the “Ohio Star” pattern with soft shades of solid pink, yellow, and orange. It is hand-stitched and hand-quilted. The reverse side is a bold geometric print that is just as wearable as the quilted side! This quilt is well worn and well-loved, with a few areas that are just starting to go threadbare. It’s delightfully soft and has the perfect amount of “quilt crinkle.”
This is a large’ish size, measuring 38″ at the bust, 32″ at the waist, and 37″ at the bottom hem/high hip. The V-neck drops 7″ from the hollow of your throat, which is neither scandalous nor overly modest. The overall length is 22″, measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the lowest point of the scoop front hem.
