Daphne bodice

The Daphne bodice is a high-backed form fitting top with wide shoulders.  It has a front close placket with antique brass finish snaps, and a V-neck.  Shaping darts at front and rear gently conform to your shape.   Inside, all the seams are bound with bias tape for a smooth, comfortable fit.

This quilt is a super-scrappy strip quilt that features fabrics from every decade from the 1920s to the 1980s. It’s brilliantly assembled quilt that shows excellent color placement and pattern balance.  The placement of the fabrics appears random, but you can tell that a grest deal of consideration was given to how they work together. It is hand quilted in a simple parquet grid.

This is a size large, measuring 40″ at the bust, 37″ at the waist, and 39″ at the bottom hem/high hip.  The V-neck drops 5.5″ from the hollow of your throat, a modestly high cut. The overall length is 21″, measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the lowest point of the scoop front hem.
