Chill Mail Scarf

This Chill Mail scarf is an upcycled, wearable personal radiator that can cool you down on a hot day. By harnessing the power of evaporative cooling, Chill Mail moves heat away from your body.  This small scarf is the perfect size to drape over your shoulders or wrap around your head and neck.  Simply dampen the scarf to activate the cooling power.  When it starts to dry out, recharge with another splash of water!

Made from linen threads in shades of blue intertwined with white.  The thread was sourced from a family of weavers in the Midwest USA who did a studio clear-out and sold off all their odd lots.  I purchased the whole box full, which may very well be enough linen thread to last my lifetime!

Measuring 52″ long by 7″ wide (364 square inches). Size extra small.  Machine washable.
