Chill Mail Scarf

This Chill Mail scarf is an upcycled, wearable personal radiator that can cool you down on a hot day. By harnessing the power of evaporative cooling, Chill Mail moves heat away from your body.  This medium-sized scarf is the perfect size to drape around your shoulders and back or wrap around your head and neck.  Simply dampen the scarf to activate the cooling power.  When it starts to dry out, recharge with another splash of water!

Made from white linen threads twined together with a rainbow spectrum of sewing threads to bring the color. The linen thread was sourced from a family of weavers in the Midwest USA who did a studio clear-out and sold off all their odd lots.  I purchased the whole box full, which may very well be enough linen thread to last my lifetime!

Measuring 60″ long by 9″ wide (540 square inches). Size medium.  Machine washable.
