The Rachel chore coat is a boxy, loose fit, open-front chore coat with a shawl collar and patch pockets. Here, I have made it with a commercial whole cloth quilt with an all-over flower pattern.

This coat is machine-washable and dryable. The seams are bound with bias tape, which prevents fraying and makes these coats extremely durable. It will withstand years of wear and be ready to pass down to the next generation.

This is a size extra large, with a 50″ bust and 52″ bottom hem. The drop-shoulder measures 27″ wide, with a 16″ sleeve. It is 32″ long at center back. Currently, this coat has no front closure. A hook and eye or button and loop may be added at no charge.
