The sleeves of this upcycled trucker jacket are made from an astonishingly perfect “postage stamp” Rosebud quilt. The quilt is made up of fabric pieces that are just one inch square! To make it even more incredible, the whole thing is hand-stitched and hand-quilted. Every single corner meets perfectly. And it shows off the tiniest, most precisely perfect stitching I have ever seen. An absolutely amazing quilt.

Inside, you can see how the work I did with the sleeves is matched in quality to the quilt. I bound off all the seams with bias tape for a clean, professional finish that will withstand years of hard wear and multiple launderings. This jacket has some small, subtle areas of intentional distressing.

This jacket could be worn as an adult small, or a child’s large. The original tag says adult small, but the cropped fit and 3/4 length sleeves make it wearable on smaller bodies. The measurements are: 34″ chest, 31″ waist, 13.5″ shoulder, 20″ sleeve, and 15″ center back.
