Sleeve Swap Trucker Jacket

$150.00

  • Upcycled denim trucker jacket
  • Pineapple pattern
  • Denim chambray binding
  • Inside pockets
  • Size Large

I swapped the sleeves on this vintage reproduction Wrangler trucker jacket with a pineapple pattern quilt. The hand-stitched quilt features shades of green and taupe. I worked the long sleeve seams on the outside, binding them with denim chambray. Inside, the armscye (that’s the technical term for the sleeve hole) is bound with the same trim for a clean finish.

The Wrangler jacket is a vintage-inspired design. The right breast pocket is accented with a brass rivet marked “1947” for the year the first Wrangler trucker jacket was made. Brass post buttons with white-wash finish are marked “Wrangler.” It has breast pockets, hand pockets, and inside pockets.

This jacket is machine-washable and dryable. The vintage-wash denim is soft and feels nicely broken-in. There are no signs of wear, so it will be up to you to give this piece some age and marks of character!

The tags says it is a unisex size large. It measures 40″ at the chest, 38″ at the waist, and 40″ at the bottom hem. The shoulder is 16″, sleeve is 23″. It measures 21″ at center back.
