This upcycled trucker jacket began its life as a denim vest. I added sleeves made from a vintage Trip Around the World pattern quilt in a beautiful rainbow of pastels. The wide cuffs feature double snaps so you can wear them loose enough to turn back, if desired. It has rhinestone accented buttons, hand pockets, and breast pockets. The inside-out photograph shows the denim bias tape with which I finished the armscye (that’s the technical term for the sleeve hole), and the baby blue cotton bias tape that I used to bind the sleeve seams.

I machine-washed and dried this jacket to prove durability and limit color bleed. I do recommend washing it with “color catchers” for the first couple washes (I put a couple of them in the pocket for you). The vest appears to have been worn very little before I got my hands on it, so it will be up to you to put some age and character into it!

Jacket is missing its original tags. Measures 42″ at bust, nips in to 40″ at waist, then 44″ at the bottom hem. Sleeve measures 26″, shoulder is 14″. It is a bit longer in the torso, measuring 22″ at center back. Women’s size XL extra large
