Sleeve Swap Trucker Jacket

$150.00

  • Upcycled denim trucker jacket
  • Vintage 70’s double wedding ring pattern
  • Distressed denim
  • Size Medium

I swapped the sleeves on this distressed denim jacket for a vintage “double wedding ring” pattern quilt made in the 1970s. It’s a “scrappy” quilt, meaning that all sorts of fabrics were used, including pieces of apparel, home decor fabrics, shirtings, and bedding. It is hand quilted and machine-pieced.

The jacket is vintage-inspired, with distressed areas. Some of the distressing went all the way through the denim, so I have patched these areas on the inside with linen to stabilize them. I applied an embroidered rose patch over one of these mends on the front shoulder area. (If you would like additional patches applied over other distressed areas, please inquire)

This jacket is approximately a size medium. It measures 38″ at the chest, and 36″ at the waist. The shoulder is 15.5″ and the sleeve is 25″. It is 19″ at the center back.
